The Great Northern Nursing Staff provides professional care for your every personal need. Our dedicated service providers are also located within the home and add extra care to ensure every residents safety and comfort. With all levels of accommodation our staff can also consult, and implement additional care, should it be required for any residents needs. Our healthcare professionals work to ensure every resident can spend quality time in their new home with complete peace of mind.

  Admission Requirements and Accommodations

All care services must be administered safely with a maximum of one person assistance.

  Independent Living

  • Relatively independent and self sufficient

  • Emergency Nursing assistance provided

  • 3 complete meals and snacks daily. Beverages available at all times

  • Housekeeping Service 1 x per week

  • Laundry Service 1 x per week

 

  Basic Living  (Adds to Independent Living)

  • Assistance with one bath per week

  • Medication administration regime including physician contact, pharmacy reordering and monitoring

  • Insulin administration

  • Oxygen Management

 

Assisted Living is available for existing residents should the need arise. We can add extra care to your living accommodations which includes daily housekeeping, assistance to and from dining area, personal care am and pm, incontinence and regular daily and nightly checks.
 
Any cognitive or behavioral issues must be assessed and approved by the Executive Director and/or Director of Care prior to admission acceptance.
We also offer ​Convalescent or Temporary Stays (upon availability, please call).​
